Poland's culture is rich with history and has little diversity in religion and is mostly roman catholic. This leads polish citizens to be very connected with each other and have huge celebrations like Christmas and Easter parades in traditional polish costumes.Poland like other countries also has idols and objects that are worshiped, the most famous of which is the Black Madonna which is housed in temple and is under a scrutiny of security.
Society in Poland has taken a hit since a plane crash which killed a polish president and first lady in 2010. Crosses were put up in honor of them and some religious groups want them taken down because they are seen offensive. This caused riots and disoriented citizens all over Poland. After this settle down things were still full of tension, but another fire was sparked when the government accused the Russian president Vladimir Putin of involvement of the plane crash. This surprisingly united and turned Poland citizens against Russia even after the arguing over this stopped. Ever since Poland society is recovering and are peaceful again.
